Day 3

Hello everyone it's day 3.  We have some down time so my friends and I are planning on playing some soccer.  Today, for the second day in a row, my alarm refused to go off in the morning and I woke up 30 minutes before we had to leave to go shopping at Dom's Square, which was a lot of fun.  The food here is terrific and everything is so different.  I am trying a lot of new foods and meeting a lot of new people.  I'll post again as soon as I can!

    Sounds wonderful Ryan. Are you playing soccer indoors? Isn't it too cold outside? What type of food is traditional to The Netherlands that you've been able to try?

    Haha yeah I have played some soccer, but outside in the parks of Amsterdam as the weather has not been too bad yet. As for traditional Dutch meals we really haven't had a unique one yet, although we have been following the Breakfest through Dinner eating routine of bread, sandwich and then warm cooked meal. However, another kid of my delegation (Jake=home stay "brother") and I have been promosied a traditionalo Dutch meal of potatoes sometime this week so I am looking forward to it
